Reading material

Today I picked up a few books at the Carnegie Library regarding both the history and collecting of tobacco pipes. The first is an original 1924 edition of The Pipe Book by Alfred Dunhill himself, while the second is The Pipe Companion: A Connoisseur’s Guide by David Wright. I’m hoping to start browsing through them this evening, and I’ll follow up in the future with some notes.

The Dunhill book definitely looks like an interesting read, I’d put it reserve but I have a feeling we use the same library…
